Merry Christmas!

We spent Christmas in Washington with Grandma and Grandpa DeCoria. Hyrum was just certain that Santa was going to bring him a 4wheeler. We kept telling him he wasn't old enough and he wasn't getting a 4wheeler, but we learned that sometimes "Santa" gets weak and gives in to cute little boys. Since we were in Washington Santa left the 4wheeler in our garage, but took pictures with the digital camera he was giving to Mom so Hyrum could see pictures of his new 4wheeler Christmas morning. We had a great Christmas Holiday with our family!

Camping and Catfishing

As usual, we went on a spur-of-the-moment camping trip this last weekend. Those are Jon's favorite!!! We rarely go on a camping trip that has been planned in advance... Anyway, we went to Huntington, OR and fished for catfish and swam in the snake river. It's been fun to put our boat to use this year. Jon attracted a boat (Law of Attraction) and it's been a lot of fun for our family to use. We also have a new truck that fits our family of 4 a lot better than his old 4 cylinder Tacoma. We caught a few fish that got off or broke our lines and Saturday morning Jon caught two catfish while he was out hiking. Before he left for his hike he thought he'd put his line in with two hooks on it and when he came back a few hours later he had two fish on.

We didn't get much sleep Friday night due to extreme wind and a fussy baby, but we had fun nonetheless!

Finally a "Blogger"

Hello all! Thanks to my sister, I am joining the world of blogging. I'm sure it will be slow at first until I figure out the foreign language of websites and learn how to at least add pictures!
