The rest of September

Even though he clearly knows how to crawl, Zerin chooses to scoot around army style.  On the grass he'll occasionally crawl.

Since I spend most of September as a single mom I've decided to make an annual tradition of camping with my parent's at Emigrant Springs.  This was our second year and such a great experience.  The mountains are beautiful this time of year and we couldn't ask for better company!   My parent's are such amazing grandparents!!

The kids and I tented it and LOVED it!  (Lydia actually slept in the trailer with Gma and Gpa).  I miss sleeping in a tent.  I love the convenience of our trailer, but there's something about sleeping in a tent that's just wonderful!

The last day there Grandma put together a treasure hunt for Hyrum and Lydia.  We are so blessed to not only have Grandparents in our lives, but to have fun, kind, and LOVING ones!  They are some of our greatest blessings!

Zerin started pulling up on everything.  He also cut his 3rd tooth right around his 9 month birthday (three months since he cut the first two).  Now he's got 3 more coming.  As you can see, he is still an extremely HAPPY baby and we LOVE having him in our home!

Birthday Part 2

Lydia had a fun filled birthday.  She had some cousins spend the night the night before and played all morning.  For lunch we went to Chuck E. Cheese.  After school her cousins came to Gma's and Gpa's for more birthday fun.  She was really excited for her birthday and when she woke up in the morning she came to my room and exclaimed, "Am I five now?!!"  Oh, the excitement of a five year old!

 

 She hit the jackpot with tickets and came away with almost 400!

 After three birthday celebrations she's on to a new year!  We love you so much, Lydia, and are so grateful you came to our family!

Birthday and Vacation Time

 We celebrated Lydia's birthday a week and a half early this year (again) because Jon is gone to Alaska and will miss the actual day.  Hyrum is also gone to Nevada to stay with G & G Lindsey.

 A couple days later she had a party with a few friends.

 Hyrum and Jon flew out the same day.  Hyrum was glad to help his Dad carry his luggage into the airport.  We had a few hours between when we dropped Jon off and when Hyrum flew out so we got lunch and hung out at the park by BSU.
