Carrots and Mud

One of these days I'm going to capture a full smile, but for now this will have to do :)
Our terribly muddy back yard.  I can't wait for grass!  The fact that we've had a very wet spring hasn't helped any...
Hyrum has discovered that he LOVES steamed carrots.  I've warned him that he may turn orange if he continues.  Hooray that we've found something healthy that he loves!

10 Years...

...and still crazy about my sweetheart!  Happy Anniversary, Jon!  I love you more and more each day!!!!
(Not surprising that one of the only photos I could find of just you also included something with antlers...)

Catching up

These are some photos from the last month or so... time is flying by and I haven't been so great at taking pictures or keeping up with blogging.  The sleepless nights with an infant are EXTREMELY difficult on me! Unfortunately, I require a lot of sleep and I really struggle when I don't get it.  I'm amazed at Mom's that seem to breeze through these times.  Thankfully, they don't last forever but my sweet little boy will!

This is Zerin's favorite way to take a bath.
Zerin finally started smiling at about 8 weeks.  These were taken at Jon's basketball game in Weiser.  His team took the championship after playing five games in a row.  He was the all star of course :)  My Mom was in town this weekend.  How I LOVE having my Mom visit!!!

My Dad came for a few days to help us move and also framed in a bunch of windows for us.  We love having Grandparents visit!!!
Moving dirt in the back yard.  Jon has some fun plans in store for all this space.  I'll just be glad to get rid of the mud!
 The framed windows
These are pictures of the old house... just for memories sake.

Zerin actually smiles all the time now and is even starting to "talk" quite a bit.  Every time I pull out the camera though he stops smiling and stares at that weird black thing.

Hyrum working on his Pinewood derby car.  It's actually going to be a fish (king salmon).

Hyrum at the 1st bow shoot of the season.  He's lucky to have such a great Dad that does so many fun activities with him!

Hyrum

I found this on the computer and thought it was quite good considering how tricky the "paint" program on our computer is.  Hyrum's quite the artist!  Not sure where he got the idea to draw a judge...
