Porter at the Council ward Father/Son's

Enjoying some of his favorite: hot chocolate!

The camp out was at Lost Lake

Only Jon, Hyrum and Porter went.  Zerin prefers to stay with Lydia and I.

Hyrum enjoying a swim in the lake with other youth.

Hyrum cliff jumping

Out exploring on Porter's favorite mode of transportation, the side by side!

Hyrum taking a group on an outing.

Sis and Eph.  She's so wonderful to play with him!

I love the joy babies have for life.  It's no wonder we told over and over again in the scriptures that in order to inherit the kingdom of God we must become like little children.  They are amazing!

Zerin and Porter out fishing/camping with Dad.  Zerin really likes hot chocolate and s'mores.  He also likes fishing and sleeping in a tent.  So, when you combine all that we're able to talk him into going on an outing with the boys.  He really enjoys himself when he's there.  It's just tricky to get him to leave his mama.  Or, maybe it's tricky for his mama to let him go?

Hyrum attempting to bow fish.  He set up his bow to try to catch carp but was unsuccessful.  At least he tried!

Johnson Creek outside Council

Since Porter loves side by sides and four wheelers, Dad thought he could convince him to use the potty as long as he could look at pictures of them.  Sure enough he was happy to sit there and look at the pictures but no luck going potty.

Fun with the neighbors at a neighborhood bounce house/potluck dinner.

Ephraim was our earliest crawler.  By seven months he was quite proficient.

Poor Brother!  He went on a scout camp out and came home looking like this.  He obviously got into some kind of stinging nettle or poison oak/sumac/ivy.  The swelling kept getting worse each day despite benadryl and other over the counter antihistamines.  I finally called our Stake President (ER Dr.) and he gave us a prescription.  I've since learned that something has to be taken ASAP or it's too late because the irritant has filled all your histamine receptors and benadryl can no longer block them.  My Uncle Peter recommends benadryl taken with an H2 block such as Pepsid or another acid blocker.  Hoping we don't have to deal with this again...

Father's day wishes from the cutest kids

Sign courtesy of sissy, of course!

Way too young to be pulling up on things (just turned 8 months).  He'll be walking before I know it :(  Mama's baby is growing up WAY too fast!

Love that chubby face!
