Our family vacation to San Diego was a great one! I have to admit I was a little worried. On the flight there Jon flew with Zerin and Lydia and I flew with Hyrum and Porter on separate airlines (we used some miles). Our flights were suppose to be similar in time but Jon's ended up being delay quite a bit. I believe we made it to the timeshare around 2am Tuesday morning. Despite waiting at the airport for quite some time with Hyrum and Porter and Jon flying so late with the other two, all the children did really well. Our flight home was crazy also. We had to leave the timeshare at 4am to make it back in time to drop off the rental van, catch the shuttle and catch 6am flights (separate again, only I had all the children except Zerin). The airport was crazy and Jon got off on the wrong terminal but somehow we all made it with our many carry-ons and strollers. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't feel like I need a vacation when I arrived home. The trip was a positive experience for all of us, Hooray!

Unfortunately, San Diego was having an unusual cold streak while we were there. The kids still had lots of fun playing on the beach.

Crazy boy! It was freezing and so was he after this :)
Hyrum discovered that he's not a deep sea fisherman. Poor boy was nauseated the entire trip, Jon didn't feel well either.
Sea World was great!
This little trooper was a gem!
Lydia is our try everything brave child. She was the only one that dared touch the eel.
It's obvious from the picture who's most excited for this ride!
A sad discovery for a two year old...sand does NOT taste good!

Hyrum couldn't have asked for a better plane to fly on!
Great little flyers!
