Lydia, Zerin, and I spent the 4th of July weekend in Washington with my family. I wanted to do something fun, but camping by ourselves (and probably a million strangers being the 4th) didn't sound too fun especially with a baby who wakes up during the night, so we split and Jon and his buddy stayed home. We had a fun time in Washington and came home the night of the 4th.

Pinata fun!
My brothers hung the pinata so they could move it around. That made for some good laughs when it came time for adults to have a turn.

Hyrum had a lot of fun with fireworks this year. Jon let him do most of the lighting.
Sorry about the bad picture of you, Jon, but Lydia looks cute :)
Grandma came to our house a few days later to celebrate my birthday with me and she brought along these two cute girls.
Hyrum (along with help from the babysitter, Jessica) made me a homemade cake-- frosting and all. Lydia added some frozen cherries to the chocolate frosting. It was yummy! Thanks buddy!

Zerin is an extremely happy little guy. He is such a great blessing to each of us and we absolutely adore him! He's been rolling over for quite some time but doesn't seem to be getting close to crawling yet. He's a busy baby and likes to explore new things. His energy seems to be similar to Lydia's. He cut his two bottom teeth the beginning of July but thankfully no other ones have appeared yet.
Lydia and I made this cute blanket together.
