Spring Fair and more fishing

Every year Fruitland hosts a spring fair. The elementary children perform songs they've learned in school, someone cooks up a yummie chicken BBQ, and it ends with a parade down main street. We've attended the spring fair the last couple years but this was Hyrum's 1st time participating. For the parade the kindergartner's had the theme of The Cat in the Hat goes orange and black (or something like that). Hence Hyrum's hat in the above picture.

Hyrum with the other Kindergartner's "on stage." He's on the bottom row grinning at us.

The Fans.

Later that day we participated in one of our favorite family activities... fishing. We tried the Snake river just north of Huntington and had some luck crappie fishing.
Lydia is quite the fisher woman. She LOVES to go fishing with her daddy!
